Ashlan Gruwell

Ashlan Gruwell graduated with University Honors from Brigham Young University in 2023. She received her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Minored in Professional Writing and Rhetoric; as a student she used those two skillsets to co-author a research article on voter confidence, and to develop an undergraduate thesis on female representation in state legislative bodies. Upon graduating she began to work in local politics, and after leading teams on two different campaigns during the 2024 election, she joined Wade Law Offices.

During her time here, Ashlan has loved helping our clients create Estate Plans that are tailor-made to their requests. Each plan is unique, and she finds it an honor to work with people from so many different backgrounds and corners of California. Ashlan also enjoys having the opportunity to engage her brain in such a productive way, and that as a result, she’s learned so much about the importance of having an Estate Plan in place before passing away.



In her free time Ashlan likes to read, spend time with her family and friends, travel, scrapbook, and try new things. She also considers herself a major cinephile-- she could talk about her favorite movies for hours-- and a foodie. Lastly, she is the Oxford comma’s biggest supporter, and believes the em dash is one of the best punctuation marks ever invented.
